Observe only from lawful public areas or places where you have permission. Do not encourage trespassing, unsafe crossings, interference with railroad work, or distracted driving.
Protect people and locations
Do not expose private homes, private meetups, minors, vehicle plates, employee identities, or another person’s precise location. Use approximate public locations when precision could create risk.
Post authentic rail content
Describe observations honestly, distinguish guesses from verified facts, credit photos and sources, and do not impersonate others. No harassment, threats, hate, spam, sexual content, graphic injury content, or illegal material.
Share photos for site use
Uploaded public photos may be featured across Wisconsin Trackside with contributor credit, including galleries, guides, railroad pages and the home page. You keep ownership and must have permission to allow these uses. Read the photo use terms before uploading.
Use community controls
Report unsafe or prohibited content and block users when needed. Do not misuse reporting to target people. Moderation status may be pending, approved, rejected, or removed, and appeals can be sent to support.
